About Me:
Hi there, I am a counsellor/Life coach with a field of interest in Teens, Parenting, Single Parenting and Divorce related issues.
Having struggled through my own life’s challenges I awakened to the realization and importance of parenting after divorce.
My aim is to provide divorcing parents with the support and solutions best adapted to both their personalities in order to help them re-look their pattern of communications and better their relationship as co-parents.
There isn't anything more rewarding than the privilege of having children.
If what you truly want is the best for your children, do the right thing for them, even if it means compromising some parts of your life.

Do whatever you need to have your children experience the love they deserve from both parents.
You owe it to them.

I am also the founder of SADSA | The South African Divorce Support Association - www.sadsa.net

I love your answer in the Forum Nadia. Very well put.

Yes, I think we all agree here that a paradigm shift is in order - and we are each a part of it!

Peaceful Divorce is a movement, and we are thrilled that it is global. Please feel free to contribute blog posts or articles, and I will be happy to feature them on the main page!

Hi Nadia:

Thanks for inviting me to be a friend!

I was in your beautiful country in May for almost the entire month! I fell completely in love with Africa. I was working and teaching most of the time but I did make it to the Bush for several days! I am hooked; and totally transformed.

I look forward to getting to know you.

Warm regards,
Jackie

Hi Nadia -

It is a thought-provoking question!

The place that each of us finds our "piece of the peaceful divorce puzzle" is within ourselves.

It seems to me like a part of your piece of the puzzle is "to provide divorcing parents with the support and solutions best adapted to both their personalities in order to help them re-look their pattern of communications and better their relationship as co-parents." (your words!) :-)

Together, with each of our unique messages, we can (and will) change the way the world divorces. Once you feel comfortable with your answer, we'd love to read it on the Forum!

Warm regards,

Cynthia

Hi Cynthia and thanks for the warm welcome. I'm a bit "puzzled" by my missing piece? Where am I supposed to find this piece of puzzle?

What is Hidden in the New Tax Proposal That Could Change Divorce

Deep in the 429 pages of the House Republican tax bill is a provision with financial consequences for couples getting divorced.People looking to get divorced and people writing alimony checks would have to pay tax on those payments. Under current tax law, alimony payments are tax-deductible to the party paying and taxable to the party receiving them. Under the new proposal that would end. Here is the rationale for making these changes: The proposal would eliminate what is effectively a divorce…See More
